The Clean Chemistry Team at Los Alamos National Laboratory is actively looking to fill two positions: a Research Technologist (best for an M.Sc., $63K - $100K/year), and a Research Technician (best for B.Sc., $52 - $83K/year).  Both positions require a familiarity with wet chemistry techniques, the clean laboratory environment and good communication & teamwork skills.  For the more senior position, a familiarity with isotope mass spectrometry (TIMS or ICP-MS), column chemistry and/or method development is preferred.  The full job descriptions can be accessed below.  For additional information you can contact our PI, Mike Murrell, at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY Science & En gineering Apprenticeship program (summer)
-  This program places academically talented H.S. students (at least 16 yrs old, sophomores/ juniors) with interest in science & math in Dept. of Defense laboratories for an 8-wk period over the summer. This is an invaluable experience in the world of scientific research, with hands-on exposure to scientific & engineering practices not available in the HS environment.
